IT FOR EDUCATION

The Schools Trust believes that Information Technology has a major role to play in education and through the years has both developed numerous systems to improve the management of schools and supported STEAM education through various initiatives.

Student Management System

The Schools Trust has developed Edugo, a state-of-the-art cloud based student management systems that it provides for free to chartered schools. Modules include Admissions, Invoicing, Budget control, HR management, Attendance, Class management and school reports.

 

Keeping Parents Connected

The Parents App is a mobile application that connects parents with the school on key administrative matters, allowing us to send updates on programmes and activities to parents.

It integrates all parent-teacher communications securely on a centralised digital platform. It is integrated with our records systems, and updates are reflected in the Parent App in real-time.

The app includes:

  • A Daily Planner

  • Term Dates Calendar

  • Message Functionality

  • Progress Reporting

  • Contact Details & More

 

ORGANISED & INFORMED

The Parent App enables parents to check all of their child’s reports, attendance record, events and their personalised timetable.

The Planner function provides parents with easy tracking of their child’s activities. Events requiring parental involvement, such as a costume for Book Week or the ingredients required for their child’s extra-curricular activity, considerably reducing the school’s administrative burden.

SUPPORTING STEAM EDUCATION

The Schools Trust is collaborating with IcanCode School to develop GalactIQ, a cloud based learning platform to teach STEAM in schools.
