The school was founded by our Trustees, John Ordovas and Darren Brown, in 2008. It first opened with 70 students in a small campus, offering quality British education to expatriate children. In 2010 the School moved to a state-of-the-art, purpose-built campus, and developed rapidly over the following years. Currently, BSKL is one of the largest international schools in Kuala Lumpur, with 1000+ children and a strong reputation for exceptional academic standards. In 2017, management and ownership of the school transferred to Nord Anglia Education.
The 2017 ISI inspection report, recognised the school for its exceptional academic standards and quality of education, putting it on par with top UK independent schools.
A purpose-built 27,000 m2 building with a capacity of 1800+ students. The campus boasts exceptional facilities, including a covered football pitch, eight-lane swimming pool, two indoor gyms, 600 seat theatre, ample playground areas, excellent science, music and art classrooms, and ample parking for parents.
